Friendly staff. Large restaurant, but its rarely full and I suspect that most of their business is take-away and delivery. The food is OK, I would prefer it to be a bit spicier, but that's my own taste. My wife has complained of feeling unwell twice the following day.
Service very slow, waited three quarters of an hour between courses while people who arrived after us were served and left before we had finished the main course. Perhaps we were not regulars?
The food here is always very good, however when it gets busy there can be quite a long wait for the food. We waited 40 minutes this time. I knew there would be a wait as I could over hear phone orders being taken and those orders were told of the wait, we weren't which was annoying. We'll definitely be back but if it looks busy we'll probably ask for a takeaway as they were appearing faster.
Great food and made very welcome. Highly recommend it and not badly priced either. Go on give it ago.
My first visit to the Alishan and it won't be my last. Food hot, restaurant clean and tidy. First class service. Service quick even though it was a Saturday night. Definitely see you again. Thank you very much.
