Food is ok for a family orientated pub, menus not always clean, often sticky, likewise the tables. We went at 12.45 and found food left in the floor, which is a slip hazard and there was a crack in the floor as well. Far right from the bar. I think the Farmhouse is now beginning to look tired and in need of a make over. Coach n horses at Melton far better.
The farmhouse is what it is.If you are looking for an expensive three course meal, this might not be the place. But if you are looking to avoid doing the washing up and have some quick warm food (large portions too), his is your place.Maybe the service isn't always the best, but when you get two big plates and a desert for 17 can you really complain?Friendly family orientated atmosphere.
Lovely food... We love the TV table for kids keeps them amused while we're eating. Shame the other TVs tables don't exist any more.
This has now been my third visit as I do not live in the area but make a point of having my Christmas meal here. The food is always excellent, well presented and above all, hot. The staff are attentive and friendly and the venue is warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is good and the overall appearance is superb.Would highly recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone
Lovely pub as always. Been here many times. Friendly staff and nice food. Good place if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere and good for families. Have also been to the pub quiz a few times - also very good
